Councillor M Lowther declared an interest in the Grant Application for East Teignbridge Community Transport Associated so did not take part in the discussion or vote.

Members considered the minutes of the Finance & General Purposes Committee held on 26 November 2020.

 

Resolved that the minutes of the meeting held on 26 November 2020 be approved and signed by the Chairman as a correct and accurate record.

A grant request of £5000 to assist core costs and day to day running of the Community Transport service.

Resolved by majority to approve a grant of £5000.

Small Grant Application - Westcliff Primary Academy pdf icon PDF 1 MB

A grant request of £250 to put towards the purchase of 6 SMART tablets to support children at home with their learning.

Minutes:

Resolved by majority to approve a grant of £510 to cover the whole cost of the project rather than just the requested amount of £250.

Bank Reconciliations

To note that the Bank Reconciliation signatory has checked and approved the reconciliations for October, November and December 2020.

Minutes:

Councillor J Petherick confirmed that the Quarter 3 reconciliations had been checked and authorised.

 

Resolved unanimously that reconciliations be approved.

Councillor Foden joined the meeting, along with the Town Clerk.

Resolved unanimously that the report to be recommended to Full Town Council for approval.

To consider the draft Budget and Precept Proposals for 2021/22 and make recommendations to Full Town Council for adoption.

Councillor Wrigley presented the proposed Budget and Precept 2021/22 on behalf of the Budget Sub Committee.

 

Resolved unanimously to recommend the draft Budget and Precept proposals for 2021/22 be adopted by Full Town Council.
